Ascension Christian Elementary student Lauren Swanson had an idea to bake goodies to sell to friends to help raise money for those impacted by Hurricane Harvey. She baked and sold goodies not only to her friends and family, but to her schoolmates and teachers. She raised over $1600 selling cupcakes and marshmallows on a stick with sprinkles and chocolate. Lauren’s plan is to partner with Household of Faith church to deliver gift cards to people in Houston.
