In 2003, the Household of Faith Church purchased the old East Ascension Academy property off Germany Road (Hwy 931) with the intention of opening a Christian high school. The campus, which was built in the late 70’s, included 15 classrooms, a football field, two ball fields, a gymnasium and acres of land for future development. However, the campus needed major renovations.
In late 2006, construction and redesign began. The mission was to completely overhaul the campus. In 2007, Ascension Christian High School opened temporarily on the campus of Faith Academy as result of a growing community prayerful for a Christian high school in east Ascension Parish. Today, the new campus has been completed and classes have started in this beautiful new High School.
